Problem:
A network mapped drive in "my computer" keeps duplicating it self automatically.
From mapped drive "Z" it creates other drives called "Y", "X", ...
Solution:
This happens because of a shortcut with a dead link.
Look for any shortcuts pointing to deleted files in the original mapped drive and delete them.
Happens frequently with excel sheets shortcuts on the Desktop, Shared Folders, or Root Drive.
